| La Dauphine consists of 30 hectares and is also situated in the upper Hex River Valley region. Cultivar composition consists of mainly Dauphine and the balance is made up of Crimson Seedless, Flame Seedless, Scarlotta Seedless, Starlight, Autumn Royal, Midnight Beauty, Desert Seedless, Regal Seedless, Thompson Seedless, Coachella, Sugra One, Victoria and Dauphine. The soil composition consists of a clay and bray combination. The farm’s marketing window starts in week 3 with Flame and stretches to week 17 with the late Dauphine. The farm is managed by Alewyn Hugo. Senior managemnt consists of Willem and Irene Visser. |
