| Plumstead is situated in the upper region of the Hex River Valley and consists of 20 hectares. The soil composition consists of a rather heavy composition of clay and loam. The cultivars produced on Plumstead are Crimson Seedless, Flame Seedless, Thompson Seedless, Dauphine, Red Globe, Prime Seedless, Midnight Beauty, Autumn Royal and Desert Seedless. The farm is one of the earliest in the Hex River Valley, starting as early as week 50 with Prime Seedless and extending to week 18 with Dauphine. The farm is managed by Hannes Vos. |
